Smells strong, vanilla with a hints of dried fruit and cinnamon. Tastes strong, semi sweet, spicy. Full bodied. Long lasting light oak after taste.
Pěkně vybalancovaná chuť s příchutí ovoce a vanilky.
As Belize was where I got the taste of rum, I was pleasantly happy to come across this rum, it is a mix of flavours, with quite a strong taste from the bourbon barrels is lived in for some time. This is fine as a sipping rum, but also mixes well. Certainly one of those rums, that when in stock, I will never pass it by.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Beautiful amber/caramel colour in the glass. Has that typical Plantation profile that ONLY becomes especially evident when sampled among other Plantation rums; it is otherwise not so evident to detect. I do detect vanilla on the nose. No question, can be sipped straight.
Not yet available at the LCBO, at $40 at the SAQ this is a solid entry in its price range alongside El Dorado 12 (much sweeter) and Appleton Rare Blend 12 (less sweeter).
