Beautiful light gold color, this rum from the distillery Bielle to cross the seas for three months to arrive in Amsterdam where it was bottled (Tres Hombres is the name of the ship & three guys who created the brand). The nose is very delicate, very thin on the fruit and the woody. On the palate, we found a rum very greedy with notes almost pastry but still very soft. A slight iodized side. The storage in barrel in the hold of the boat allowed a particular refining and it certainly allowed to soften. A very long finish in the mouth. Great rum. There is a cask strength version of a 55% drum in a sandstone bottle limited to 111 pieces.
Had a tres hombres sipping. This was a good one. A lot of flavour
