Pekná flaša aj tuba. Mám rád aj radu Espero tiež od Albert Michler. Vôňa prijemná sladká - vanilka, karamel, prezreté ovocie. Chuť - sladká (vanilka, karamel, sherry) na konci jemna sudovosť a popŕhlenie od alkoholu. Za cenu okolo 28€ veľmi dobré pitie. Určite skúsim aj ďalšie zo série.

This rum surprised me. I had never heard of it and found this bottle by coincedence. It smells really sweet and fruity and when you drink it, it is sweet but not overwhelming sweet. Not bad!

AEN mi doporučil kamarád jako jeho oblíbený rum. Naštěstí máme kousek dobrý bar, kde sem ho mohl vyzkoušet, a stál fakt za to. Vůně skvělá, chuť sladší a plná, tak jak to mám rád. Láhev prostá a fakt pěkná, moc se mi líbí jejich design. Za mě to stojí za to.

Very sweet rum and not very complex.
The balance of aromas is not very good, there is too much sweetness. Imagine the taste of rum in a rum praline, this is the kind of rum you will find there.
If you like rum liquour maybe you would like it. If you like natural rum you will be disappointed.
Smell: raisins, dry fruit, vanilla, caramel and oak (sweet)
Taste: Burned sugar, dry fruits, sweetness, vanilla, oak, remains sweet on the palet, spices
Finish: short with spices and sweetness (after some minutes there are some cherries - maybe sherry finish)
There is some agricole in the taste, it's behind the sweetness. The taste is not bad but it's too sweet.

Sehr intensive, dominante Süße und Kirschfrucht durch und durch. Weich, mild, leicht würzig, etwas alkoholisch. Langer Abgang, im Nachhall dezente Bitternote.
Wahrscheinlich nachbearbeitet, aber sehr untypisch und mit besonderem Charakter. Daher die höhere Note.

An excelent rum, i like it better than the Solera 25.
Velmi osobitý rum, který má jednu úžasnou vlastnost - neurazíte žádnou návštěvu ani žádného milovníka rumu.

Bottle of Austrian Empire Reserva 1863 is a kind of golden standard for me, the same as Diplomatico RE. It's a bottle, which I am buying whenever the current one is out. This is definitely the best choice in price/value ratio ! If you like sweet and smooth rums, you are on the right address.
It has something very specific in smell, which makes it different from all rums I've tried until now.
I have also 18y version, which is in taste&smell very close to reserva, but less sweet. So go for reserva and you will also spare some money ! :)
