I was pleasantly surprised by this rum. Nice dark colour in an uninteresting plain bottle.
Rich to nose, has a nice smell. Hints of cocoa/chocolate. Rich in esters, so you have to let it breath for a while.
Nice full body, somewhat sweet, but not too much. Also hints of cocoa/chocolate, brown sugar and molasses.
Surprisingly smooth for a cheap rum. Definitely a steady addition to my collection.
