Distilled using small-batch copper pot stills uniquely designed for Appleton Estate, this rum is a blend of several rums aged 21 years in American oak barrels. Once blended, the rum is re-casked for two years to marry the flavors.
Appleton Estate 21-year rum is produced in Jamaica on one of the country’s oldest and most renowned sugar estates. Each bottle is individually numbered and comes with a signed aging certificate by master blender Joy Spence.

Un rhum qui tiens ses promesses, très belle longueur, canelle, bois et cuir...un rhum à découvrir absolument !
Sehr aromatisch mit einem leicht "rauchigen" Geschmack. Mittelmässig süss.
enjoyed this a lot this is the 5th Appleton i've had and the 2nd best behind the 8 (won this on twitter)
Title says it all, although they both are quality rhum.
Très bon, mais trop cher à mon avis. Dans les 21 ans, je préfère l'El Dorado, qui est vraiment très bon.
This is the smoothest rum I've had so far. I'd give it a 10, except for the price. No burn at all.
Would always choose this one over any other Appleton
Very good for Appleton .Smooth . Price = 130$ in Jamaica .
Cel mai bun Appleton dintre cele băute până acum. Vechimea își spune cuvântul foarte clar în acest rom deosebit.
This is darn good stuff, like real good. Smooth smooth smooth. It's not that complex do to the fact it's so well blend together for their demise. I mean it's really good don't get me wrong, worth the price ? NO NO NO. How it works it enters smooth exits dry, transitions from semi sweet to dry during the enter exit process. Distinct Appleton taste just smoother. Honestly though very very pricey for what it is, by no means is it bad but you can get rums half the price that are just as good. Appleton has a distinct flavor which is moderately simple once blent together, oak, molasses, toffee, some allspice and vanilla, the cane they use has a very distinct flavor a dry but sweet sugar and that is essentially Appleton. Going from their lowest to their higher it's about all the same, the higher grade ones just hone in on their distinct flavor better with much reduced harshness. It's a very pleasant flavor none the less and this one has no alcohol smell in it so you can smell all the aromas for as long as you please.
After tasting the 12yr version of appleton which was great, even better than appleton VX (also good although a bit harsh) I was convinced that the 21 yr version was going to be insanely good....unfortunately not so much. It's good but tastes a bit watered down and much sweeter than the 12 yr version...much sweeter and weaker than I expected. It's too smooth in the wrong sort of way.
Nice brown sugar and toffee notes with a nice creamy nuttiness underneath.
"Tropical notes of sweet fruits a little orange zest and some nice notes of tropical fruit. It burns slightly on the finish which is very long and satisfying. ."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Surprisingly light and many fruit flavors.
Needs more darker flavors to be more balanced but easy to drink Jamaica rum.
