Distilled using small-batch copper pot stills uniquely designed for Appleton Estate, this rum is a blend of several rums aged 21 years in American oak barrels. Once blended, the rum is re-casked for two years to marry the flavors.
Appleton Estate 21-year rum is produced in Jamaica on one of the country’s oldest and most renowned sugar estates. Each bottle is individually numbered and comes with a signed aging certificate by master blender Joy Spence.

This was my first rum that I fell in love with about 10 years ago. Just enough oak, vanilla, caramel.
I am not a rum expert, I just know what I like, and I like this! It's my favorite rum to sip, I love the aroma and the melding of flavors. Glad I bought the bottle, think I'll need another.

Now this is some good stuff. At a very decent price. This rum offers complexity, a balanced sweetness, spices and a very different flavor of jamaican rum, than any other jamaican rum I tried. I recommend this to everyone.
Really liked the suaveness of it.
Pure Caramel taste w/ a bit of a fruity finish

un ron complejo e imponente sus 21 años son bien llevados en boca sabor a mar y arena suave al final en nariz simlemente
Un Rum agréable avec des arômes de cuir, de caramel.
Puissant tout en gardant une certaine douceur.
Long en bouche, on y revient pour une "dernière" gorgée.

I’ve found that after trying and rating over 200 rums it’s getting more expensive and difficult tracking down and sampling top rated rums. With that said 21 Appleton has a very rich looking medium golden brown color that I love. On the nose very little alcohol scent not too sweet just nice but not a 10. On the tongue nice balanced flavor tongue tingling sensation, not like gasoline just nice.great lingering flavor top shelf 9 rating.
Just had this again after many months and I could drink this everyday it is truly amazing, need to find another bottle.
