Distilled using small-batch copper pot stills uniquely designed for Appleton Estate, this rum is a blend of several rums aged 21 years in American oak barrels. Once blended, the rum is re-casked for two years to marry the flavors.
Appleton Estate 21-year rum is produced in Jamaica on one of the country’s oldest and most renowned sugar estates. Each bottle is individually numbered and comes with a signed aging certificate by master blender Joy Spence.

Tried a sample of this one and I really enjoyed it, would like to go for a whole bottle, lovely taste.
Been wanting to try this rum. It is certainly good but not what I was expecting. Not as smooth as expecting.
SInce I tried Appleton 21 for the first time I founded completely rounded. The right balance between sweet and dry. An honest rum with a long end full of chocolate and Wood. It is priced US 150 in Lima, Peru. In these years I ve tried more pricey rums, including blind tastings. The 21 never step behind. It is a rum you always want to taste again.
I sat and just smelled it for a good half hour, thinking about what I was doing 21 years ago when it started life! Tastes smoother than the 12 yr, flavours dense and varied. Not quite world class but very enjoyable and the price is reasonable too.
Very unique flavour. Not too sweet, a decent bite to it, which made small sips most enjoyable. Would buy again.
It is not one of my favorites but Appleton has its own unique flavor that I am sure you would enjoy rather straight or with Coke.
I love all appleton rums, especially the 12 year old rare blend, simply because it is no sugar added spirit. This 21 year old product is same, amazingly balanced and strong in taste, smooth and woody. Jamaican as it should be.
Many times I've looked eagerly at the Appleton Estate 21 year bottle in the shelves...but one day I bought one. High priced ~100€ I expected a lot and got less. Difficult to distinguish any flavour...wooden, of course. It burns!..... Now, I have emptied the last mug and I take look at the crowd of bottles and the Appleton disappears - unlamented and forgotten.....
Sweet not harsh. And very smooth without that burning sensation.
Un rum facile à boire même pour un débutant mais qui révèle plein de subtilité et de finesses. Nez incroyable. Proche de l’El Dorado 21 Ans mais moins sucré.
Nice brown sugar and toffee notes with a nice creamy nuttiness underneath.
"Tropical notes of sweet fruits a little orange zest and some nice notes of tropical fruit. It burns slightly on the finish which is very long and satisfying. ."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Beautiful color, nose is oaky, caramel, citrus.
Taste is aged oak, nutty, with a dry finish.
Oak taste lingers. This is my first Appleton. Look forward to drinking more of this rum.
