Quite typical in every aspect : a bit of varnish, ananas, olive, brine, well balanced wood... At 46° it is not a beast but the distillate in itself is so flavorful that it is still very good after some drops of waters. A good introduction into Jamaican funky rums (and the exact opposite of south american over-sweetened rons).
316 bottles limited edition and Kill Devil Jamaica 1998 16y is pure rubber to the nose and throat. Such a hard to find bottle at $77, and no cigar for me. Taste is the most pleasurable experience which increases the score from 2 to 3.
