Passable spiced rum

Of the three Code flavored rums that I have thus far tried (the other two being the Key Lime and Cinnamon) this one is the best of the three. However as far as spiced rums go, this one is mediocre at best. Many spiced rums are far superior and readily available (Sailor Jerry's, Bayou Spiced Rum, Old New Orleans Cajun spiced rum, Siesta Key spiced rum, Koloa spiced rum all come to mind). I taste orange zest and nutmeg in this and it does taste sugared. There is a slight chemical aftertaste. Not a bad rum and usable as a mixer.
