I Love Demerara rums, and El Dorado. Having tried and rated many this was a welcome gift from a friend for something new. Nice golden color lighter than most El Dorados easy on the nose no burn velvety smooth and sweet on the tongue. A great long lasting full bodied flavor. Tastes and look like no added sugars or colors, a full bodied nice rum.

Although the picture shows the EHP, I believe it is intended to represent the PM. It does not designate itself as the PM - but the others - EHP and ICBU single barrels are listed separately on this site. I liked it, but it was not as good as the EHP - and therefore, certainly not worth the $75 price tag. Too bad. Not the first time - and not the last - that I will overspend to try a new rum.

The smell reminds me of a harsher version of pussers a little but the taste is nowhere close.
It is hard to smell anything over the harsh acrid aroma.
All I taste is wood.
A little ice softens it up a bit
