Smooth rum and lots of flavor. Love this one on the rocks.

Love how balanced it is… got some fig on the nose and long finish on the palate.

Surprised that at 63% abv it didn’t kick, peppery and oaky a bit harsh but in a good way…nose burns but again as expected for 63%. Friends say chocolate and fig notes

Smells every % of its strength but tastes so smooth. Slight banana esters, caramel, burnt sugar, touch of alcohol burn, toffee, hint of liquorice

Good and powerfull El Dorado.( Not as powerfull as Port Mourant 1999 ) but powerfull. The nose is Christmas, the taste is a bit more sharp compared to Port Mourant. It is really good. Can’t understand the low rating!

N- Interestingly as well intensely made. Squeezing whole of uncut passion-fruit, breath in the distant fragrant of the fruit with hint of earth. Well lay with rich cafe mocha in the middle and welcoming fume-y notes. Long lasting and evolved well to roasted peppercorn with tinge of brown syrup. (89/22)

P- Mouthwatering, burst of dried fruits of raisin, hawthorn and bitter chocolate. Authentic, earthy, spicy and semi aggressive with refine richness. Dry, tannin with raising fume of charred strength to flex its muscle, just the way how I like my rum. (93/23)

F- Long, alluring mouth coat, dry, herb-y, rum soaked dried fruits sweetness and reasonable depth to mesmerize. In the sea of rum, to encounter a genuine flavours like this are cheer-able. (92/33)

B/B- 92/23

My only problem with this rum is that it's too sweet for me, I would give it a solid 8 but that sugar was too much. Nice vanilla and caramel taste, sweet in the ending. Zero burn, and with 63% looks suspicious (how much added sugar? Didn't found anything online).

I had this rum as an old fashioned. The taste was really good and complex. Starting with a chocolate flavor in the first place I experienced a very intense note of coffee in the aftertaste.
A delicious rum which is unfortunately not one of the most affordable ones.

Strong, sugar-coated almond, coffee bean, damson, milk chocolate, black pepper and thick molasses.
