This is one of the interesting rums, where all the flavours are 100% natural
Surprisingly sweet without added sugar. Strong vanilla and marzipan flavour.

Rum molto morbido ed equilibrato con un gusto caramelloso per niente fastidioso. Anche se non è il mio genere preferito devo ammettere che è di ottima qualità.

Beautiful rum with butterscotch,caramel, toffee and coffe aroma and some fruity notes.In mouth, the pastry take the lead with lot of fruits, vanilla and oaky notes and slightly bitter. Long aftertaste. Never taste that before, very interesting.

Deze mooie rum heeft vijf jaar op bourbon vaten gerijpt en nog eens zes jaar op Californische Zinfadel wijnvaten.

Er is geen suiker en/of kleurstoffen toegevoegd.

Zeer zachte alcohol burn, licht zoet, medium body. molasses, hout, brood, rozijnen en tropisch fruit proef ik. Lange nasmaak.

Weer een aanrader van Foursquare.

i smell elements of almond with a fruity unerlayer.
i taste marzipan and sweet fruit at the start. then it turns into apricot and peppery notes with the finish of sweet grapes.
10/10 - drop 5 points if you love the real sweet stuff on the rum market.
worth every cent.
in the whole this rum is real good. soft and mild with elements of almond and some cherry. fruity with a touch of apricot. very smooth. mild peppery notes.
a masterpiece. the aging in the zinfandel cask makes the difference especially at the start!

Nose: Summer fruit pudding, bags of strawberries, raspberries and plums. Some definite oak but light and soft oak, delicate caramel, vanilla and some molasses. Some spirity notes and a touch of varnish. The nose it at one time light, fruity and floral, slightly grassy and then at the same time you can feel deep brooding pudding smells are lurking. It’s a nose that makes you want to take a big mouthful of the waiting rum.

Palate: Thick, full mouth feel, coating but not cloying. Sweet delivery with loads and loads of fruit, you can really get the wine casks in this. Strawberries, raspberries and plums again, some pomegranate, and then a big whoosh of candy floss/cotton candy. Oaky mid-palate and then moves on to toffee, butterscotch, butter and baking spices. There is a little touch of licorice, vanilla pod and something almost savory in there too hiding at the back; paprika or Garam Marsala. Dry coconut as things move to the finish.

Finish: Long. Drier than the palate but still sweet. Strawberries and fresh whipped cream, milk chocolate and maple. That coconut from the end of the palate stays into the finish and then it starts to get spicy with some white pepper, clove and a touch of ginger but it never bitters.
