I keep this on hand at all times. Sweet and yummy. Rum is my drink of choice, but I have not yet learned to review and distinguish all the nuances and subtleties. I just know what I like. And I like this one very much. I have tried nearly every El Dorado rum that I have had the opportunity to purchase. I actually like this a little better than the six year Silver. Much better than the Superior White.

Really good mixer with some hints of vanilla at a decent price.

A standard white rum, refreshing smell. It’s quite bitter neat. However with a a mixer it’s tastey, moreish and vanilla. I like it but it’s not unique.

I use it for cocktails and mixers. Definitely one of the better ones.

Hey what can you say about a white rum ?
This offering from El dorado was and is an excellent example of what white rum can be a very very good mixer that offers a smooth delivery and a great white rum mixer drink 👍

This mixing rum has a bit more character than the typical "white rum" offerings. There's a little vanilla, banana, and coconut but it isn't overwhelming. ED3 works really well in a daiquiri or mojito. It was my go-to for a cocktail cabinet mixing rum for a long time.

Nice sweet brown sugar smell, pretty round but without any specific excitement.

Body is thin and watery with some spicy burn in throat. Can’t pick out any distinctive flavours with this rum. As as result of ageing and filtering all edges to this rum are gone but at the same time no vanilla or sugar have been added I think. Feels pretty honest and for some reason 3-yr works really well in cuba libres.

Definitely better than Matusalem Platino or Havana Club Silver/3-yr. real rating is 5.8. Probably won’t be getting another bottle but have no hesitations for having bouhht one either :) Price was 19.99/08/2020

The nose is consistent with other Demerara rums from El Dorada, but less rich and more bite. Flavor is simple without much sweetness or character. Much better than my house Bacardi Blanca for upgrading cocktails.
