Guyana | Aged | 40% ABV | Pot and Column Still Distilled
El Dorado 12-Year Rum is composed of a blend of aged rums, all at least 12 years old. The rums are distilled using a combination of stills including coffey stills and a double wooden pot still before being aged in bourbon oak casks.
Demerara Distillers of Guyana produces El Dorado 12-year rum and is the country's last remaining distillery, with origins tracing back to 1670. The name ""El Dorado"" references the legendary city of gold that is said to be in the country's Rupununi region.

This is the first rum that I have ever been able to drink neat. Actially it's my first taste of aged rum so I couldn't spoil it with a chaser.
Sweet but smooth then the after taste of caramel.
Dont know how much it is worth in price as I got it as a present from GT. Would difinately buy another bottle if I could get my hands on one.

A very good rum for the price. Good straight up or fantastic mixed. Well worth the price, very tasty.
Great rum for on the rocks. Averagely smooth. Also a great mixer. Good gift as an introduction to the Guyana rum without being too expensive.
This is it as far as i'm concerned, balanced flavors, wonderful aftertaste that stays and a good price. You would be hard pressed to find better.

Rhum beaucoup trop sucré, très commerciale...
Ne vaut pas les dollars investies, comme chacun de ses frères de 15 et 21.
Bon produit de milieu de game... Juste trop cher !

I really love it and got it for 23€. It sweet and complex. Just what I expect from a Rum.

This is excellent sipping rum. Very nice color in the glass. In the nose is also very nice - some spices with the touch of oak. Smooth alcohol smell doesn't hit you. In the mouth you can feel baking spices, caramel and a bit of some fruits. Alcohol taste is present but just a bit. Everything is well ballanced to perfection. After first glass you want more and more. Definitely recommend and sure will buy another one. Treasure in the bottle!

A very good rum. I enjoy it as a sipper but may try it as a blender later. A bit stronger but it is my 5th rum bottle ever so I am only at the beginning of my rum journey. Sweeter taster and well balanced smoke flavor.
