Bumbu Original

Tried Bumbu original tonight. It is a very very sweet rum. I haven’t had a rum this sweet amd banana filled flavor before. I may have to use this as more of a dessert drink. No burn at all and kind of like syrup. Probably won’t be sipping on this much in the future.

This is the best rum I've personally ever tasted. No need to mix or add ice, very rare I come across rums like that. Absolutely amazing

While I don't require my drinks to have a sharp edge, Bumbu dampens it's spirit by being, in my opinion, unnecessarily sweet. It has a nice blend of flavors, but I really have to pay attention to feel it underneath all the sugary, bit bubblegum sweetness.

It's probably going to sit well with people who like caramelly cognacs and liqueurs.

Voňavý sladký rum. Je cítit po banánech. Konstantní chuť od začátku do konce.

It's a classy bottle holding a classy rum.

Sweet banana-y notes tickle your buds and then the vanilla notes mellow out a great rum, that I enjoy with just ice.

I love this stuff. It's like pure banana rummy goodness (and I'm not even big on bananas). It's sweet, but you can sip it over ice. It makes a fantastic and unique rum and coke, but at $40 a bottle isn't a frequent treat.

The banana favor may put off some and this can come across as more of a "dessert" rum. But I enjoy it for what it is. First tried it at the bar in a Marriott hotel in Alabama because they had nothing else other than rums for mixing. I've been a fan ever since.

Ein Rum der die Massen spaltet, Bewertungen von 1 bis 10, da war ich natürlich neugierig.

Geruch Banane, Früchte Note mit ein wenig Alkohol.
Geschmack nach Banane, Vanillie und karamellisierter Zucker, sehr süß aber relativ gut eingebunden. Im Abgang bleibt Vanille und Zucker ein wenig.
Was soll ich sagen, interessant, schwer zu bewerten......

Fazit:
Ein sehr guter „Rum“ als Dessert, eher mehr Likör als Rum.
Ganz anders als der XO, der ein echter Rum ist und nicht so süss !
