Bumbu Original

Not quite a rum, more of a liquor. Strong unripe banana nose and taste with chocolate hints. Pretty sweet, similar to other liquers, doesn't seem to mix well but fine on its own.

Probably most sweet rum I've come across. Sweet vanilla, banana, pear on the nose. Same goes for palate, vanilla, banana, pear, little spices and citrus, but nice alcohol taste anyway. I can understand, that this is not for everyone, but it has it's place, maybe as a dessert? You should at least try it.

I did not expect such strong banana smell! Vanilla goes second and forms quite distinctive smell from "whiskier" rums.
Goes very smoothly, probably because of all the sugars. Taste is very sweet, caramelish. It does smell better than taste though.

Overall it might be a bit too sweet for me, but definitely a very tasty rum for sipping!

Great for cocktails. Smooth and Sweet. Hint of Honey and Caramel.

Taste like candy. Spiced fruits with caramel. Not so strong. I it is a pity, taste very nice, but for better rating should stronger and less sweet.

Lovely golden rum with unique flavour to me. Strong banana on the nose, but there is a more complex taste with toffee, butter and banana. It is pretty sweet so some may not like. A nice sipping rum or good with mixers due to the bold flavours.

So smooth and sweet. Perfect for sipping. Don’t you dare mix it!

Now this is a pretty standard rum with hints of caramel, brown sugar and banana. It is indeed quite an easy to drink rum as it is very sweet and smooth. I'd say this rum is more to be used for cocktails or mixed with coke. Overall, very nice.
