Bumbu Original

Smells like bananas and caramel apple to me. Not the smoothest, but very nice. The bottle is what sold the rum.

This rum will not let you down as it builds standard taste with vanilla that I really don't like, but here it is for the good of the final feeling.

I tried this rum for my first unexpected tasting at a workshop at the end of 2021, and I took an empty bottle home and sniffed for a long time. I've ignored rumy so far, and that's where it started. It's mania and in the end I collect rums or watches like before ... We already have the 3rd bottle of Bumba at home and even though I grew out of it, I won't forget it, I have had dreams about that banana for a long time :-) However, it is too artificial and scented and I actually stopped tasting.

Tento rum jsem zkusil na své první nečekané degustaci na workshopu koncem roku 2021 a prázdnou láhev jsem si vezl domů a dlouho k ní čichal. Rumy jsem dosud ignoroval a tímhle to vlastně začalo. Je z toho mánie a sbírám to jako dřív nože, či hodinky... Bumbu už máme doma 3. láhev a i když jsem z něj vyrostl, nezapomenu na něj, o tom banánu se mi dlouho zdálo :-) Nicméně je příliš umělý a navoňaný a už mi vlastně přestal chutnat.

It is tasty to most of the visits. Great alcohol to spare and call "rum". Not too expensive, nor crazy cheap but better than to pour rums twice the taste to waste on someone who thinks best "rum" is Captain Morgan:)) sweet, maybe too much for some. Banana everywhere...Still not that bad

Strength - 3.5/10

Mix it with orange juice or pomegranate, nice Longdrinks. It has a lil deepness a the second sipp.

A mild flavor, not much bite (sweet) thus a good mixer. Fairly tame, good for parties not a slow sipper.

Vanilla is what I get most on the nose to me. It also stands out on the taste and the banana isn't overwhelming for me.

Enjoyed this to sip in a limited amount. Wouldn’t be my first choice but was pretty good.

Unique flavour of rum reminiscent of papa don. Caramel has fruit flavourings with hint of spice. Reminds me of cream soda because I cant put my finger on the flavour. Not bad but couldn't drink all the time.
