This is a mix of caribbean rums and those that put it together did a wonderful job doing it. I totally enjoyed it with cola and some local iceberg. Ranks there with many standard spiced rums like Captain Morgan.
While the rum itself is from the Caribbean, it is blended, by 20 Newfoundland mixologists (or so the label says), in Canada. Hhmmn... Anyways, this rum has a light amber, almost caramel like colour, and a very distinctive aroma - Vanilla for sure, and I think I smell coconut, This is why I say it's an "island" rum... Tastes good in a rum and cola - Nothing too fancy, but light and islandy!
