The title is true.
If it’s big home party with students this “gold spiced” will be good. If you won’t something more - drink juice this night.
Better mix with coke. Cheap drink to go drunk, that’s all.

If you're 18 and looking to try a first rum then here you go. Cheap and sweet. Don't bother wasting your money if you've ever had any other rum because you'll be disappointed

This was my first and I still like it today. It’s not advertised as a great high end but as a commercially available rum. You will find this in most pubs/bars/clubs. It goes well with cola but is not good for sipping. A very sharp aftertaste if drunk neat but a nice sweet drink with cola. Not going to win any awards for best rum but will do the job if at a loose end.

Personally I find this rum ok, I would use it mostly for long drinks, sometimes with cola and lime
I find it at a price of 17€ which is very descent for me
I would definitely suggest it to a beginner.

I cannot consume this without mixing it.
This is defined as a liqueur and not "real" rum.

If used as an ingredient I rather like it. Most people I know have tried this one and thought it was ok. If you have friends over they might ask for it over some expensive not so well known brand. So I usually have some along with my other rums. Another good thing is the price. A Tuesday rum and coke doesn't always have to be a religious experience so I drink it also now and then. Yes, not great but good enough for some occasions.

The nose on this rum is sharp, sweet and artificial. It smells almost cloyingly sickly sweet.
"It really is just vanilla, vanilla and a touch more vanilla. There is no subtlety, no hints of spices not even a hint of ginger or anything worth while. Its basically Vanilla flavoured rum."

This rum is perfect for a whole evening drinking rum&coke. It's light, easy to drink and doesn't get you totally wasted. It's a good price/quality balance. Both cheap :)
