Nice spice taste with a bit more bite at the end than I would like

Obviously, never sip this stuff straight. It has this horrible, artificial vanilla taste, and is sweet, but not in a good way. It leaves a horrible aftertaste. I'm sure coke could help mask the horrible flavor of this "rum", but it would be best in the drain

This rum is not a premium one for sure but I enjoy drinking it since it has strong vanilla taste. Quite enjoyable for me in mixed drink or on the rocks. A really good alternative for occasional drinking due to a really small price.

A rum for cheap highballs on hot summer days in Cyprus. Nothing for rum lovers but perfect for youngsters trying to get drunk.

It's ok if it's your first Rum. You can taste a lot of vanilla and spice, but the alcohol is very strong and will be irritating and cover up most of the other flavours. Recommended with cocktails or coke as it is quite inexpensive, however if you want to drink it straight there's plenty of better choices.

(EDIT: I originally gave this rum a 5, partly out of the fact that it was my first, but on second tasting I have to lower it. The smell of chemical vanilla and spice is very strong and certainly not natural. Again, ok with coke, ok for cocktails, but not for sipping)

not really a Captain, I used to drink it as teenager as it was cheap and everybody was drinking it, now - only as worst case scenario, bottoms up when nothing else is available, and maybe...maybe in a cocktail, it is a cheap alcohol with some scents and stuff inside, for similar price definitely buy some Havana club or maybe Kraken

It is not rum. I actually get mad thinking about how popular it is and how so many people think that this is actually what rum is.
