Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold

This rum can only be mixed, straight is like drinking nail polish. Buy this if you are looking for a cheap rum option to get drunk.

Like a lot of the other reviews, this is a cheap rum to really only be mixed with coke. Spicy, but not in a really pleasing way, and there are obviously far better rums to mix with anyway.

If You do not have other choice and there is a coke near, this could be accepted

I used to drink captain by the bottle. College it was the drink of choice. And in a bind if a bar has no other aged or better rums it is of course drinkable...but has to be mixed. It is so sub par and the title says it all. Once you discover and drink better rums...the captains ship is sunk.

I mean it's Captain Morgan. We all know it's great at a party, great for mixing, and a strong staple if you like spiced rum. If you want to begin expanding your knowledge of rums, go beyond and research.

Tento rum, pokud je to rum je tak špatně nakořeněný, že se hodí rozhodně jen do koly a je třeba dát více koly. Pokud chete lepší míchačku doporučím Plantation Original Dark.

Nose: intense sugar and caramel, very sweet, smells just like Carambar.
Palate: well... , pretty artificial.
Does not really taste like rum.

Tastes like college all over again. Not bad for what it is & always have some in the bar in case there are requests for it, but there are so many better-drinking rums out there. Wouldn’t sip unless i lost a bet. Mixer all the way.

Captain Morgan drinks smooth and easy but with a little bit to much vanilla tast. There are vetter rums foto the price.
