Love the aftertaste. Good burn on the alcohol not too much but not too little. Itβs really smooth. Makes me not want to chase it. Iβd prefer the 100 proof version though because I like alcohol.
Good may be for mixing with Cola but not good for something like drinking. When someone is rating this as good, its time to try something better, really...

Good tasting rum for sipping but too sweet, too sugary. Nice in addition to Lady Bligh, a must. Lady Bligh is better for sipping because itβs more interesting. Not affiliated, just like.

The only time I drink Captain is when it's all they have in the bar as a lot of bars sell it. Sweet. Not enough spice. Not on my rum shelf.

Better than bacardi, a decent cheap one to mix rum and coke

Tend to use this as a generic spiced. Itβs inoffensive and smoother than supermarket brands and only a little more expensive

sorry CM but this is deadly, taste like spirits with carmel and some spice, but even with drink it is just deadly, do not recommend even on hardcore party, Sorry i just feel disappoint. taste 3 glasses, thats really deadly taste.
The nose on this rum is sharp, sweet and artificial. It smells almost cloyingly sickly sweet.
"It really is just vanilla, vanilla and a touch more vanilla. There is no subtlety, no hints of spices not even a hint of ginger or anything worth while. Its basically Vanilla flavoured rum."
