Aki ismerkedik a fűszerezett rumokkal, vagy szereti ezeket, annak érdemes lehet megkóstolni ennyiért. Nekem magában nem jött be az (a talán gyömbéres?) íze, kólával azért elment ez is...

So its not really rum but its not a bad mix with coke... thats not saying much but overall if thats what you are looking for then there you go. Do not sip this though, seriously

Too many better options. No need to waste time with this one.

Spiced so-called, with a hint of Vanilla and "zest" of a Lemon.
Definitely more like a liqueur than a Rum.
Not easy for mixer.
Not enjoyable as straight.

On the nose:
Acetone forward, slight tingle, some sweetness, there is vanilla hiding in there somewhere, perhaps a touch of raisin but I can't really pick up more than that.

On the tongue:
At first vanilla forward, but quite quickly gets harsh with ethanol. Once the tingle in the mouth and nose go away, there is some reminiscing afterflavour of vanilla but also some sweetness, but not sugar more like artificial sweetener.

Subjective:
From a neatness drinking point of view, which I review all my drinks, this is a no, but it pairs well with pepsi max, which makes it my go-to drink. So although I score it low here, I keep buying this as my main mixing rum.

Sorry Captain, but where is the rum here? Sweet vanilla, mild palate with yucky ending. There are many better options in this price bracket.

This is the rum of youth, nothing like a Captain and coke.

This was the first rum I tasted in my life that wasn't terrible. Now I would never drink it, especially not alone, because there are just so many way better rums out there. Even for a first experience with rums, I would suggest aiming higher. On the other hand if you're looking for something cheap, something you can buy anywhere, and you're planning to mix it with something anyways, it isn't a bad choice. Be prepared for the ton of sugar though.

If you're still drinking this one its time to put on your big boy pants and experiment with better rums. I would even put this in Coke because I wouldn't want to ruin my soda...
