This is an 11yo Haitian agricole rhum distilled by Barbancourt and bottled at 86 proof after sitting in a Limousin oak cask from 2004 to 2015. I love it. Naturally sweet and fragrant, it practically dances on the palate. Mild fruit and flowers, some wood and spice. Just a beautiful combination. An excellent sipping rum, perfectly delicious. One of my top-shelf favorites.

Sweet, dusty and floral, with honey, warm straw, wild flowers, jasmin, mint and bergamot - lovely aged agricole on the nose.

Oily and soft on the palate, with butter cream, nuts, caramel, bananas, papaya, tealeaves, oak and spices arrive late, with cloves, pepper and nutmeg. Good stuff.

The high ABV can be felt but not in a bad way. Love the floral tones and just immense flavor that fills the mouth with just a tiny sip. Recommended.

Very sharp, with a taste of asphalt and rubber.

Country of Origin: Haiti

Color: Golden Yellow

Nose:
Aromatic, sweet, fresh and flowery.
Smells like fruit salad, which was made from ripe exotic fruits, specifically papaya.
Notes of fresh dates with a whiff of Limoncello and bergamot.
Furthermore there is some varnish and window cleaner.

Palate:
Bold, very aromatic, spicy and full bodied. Spirituous - warms from deep inside. Tastes like papaya with dark honey and aniseed. There are herbal and flowery aromas.
Very tasty!

Finish:
Long and spicy on notes of herbs, dark honey and black tea.
