This is a very nice light pour.
The nose is subtle with vanilla definitely at the fore front.
The mouth feel is good and the rum is very smooth, with only a hint of alcohol burn on the swallow.
The limited flavour palette would be my only real concern. If you like a smooth vanilla rum you might rate this a 9 or 10, if you demand a wide flavour spectrum you may rate it a 4 or 5.
Overall it is a pleasant sipper.

Trop léger, trop discret, dans l'ombre de son grand frère "Prestige" qu'il faut largement préféré. La vanille n'est même pas si présente. La Peugeot 407 coupée que tout le monde a déjà oubliée.

It is actually well balanced and smooth, with huge tones of vanilla. Very pleasant
Un super cadeau reçu tout droit de Madagascar. Un excellent goût vanillé qui lui donne une douceur en bouche. Même ma femme l'a aimé.

Rhum très doux descend vraiment bien ! Le seul point négatif est que l'arôme de vanille est un peu artificiel mais sinon je l'adore

Un gout de cerise noire. Au nez on sent un peu la vanille. Unique en son genre, il faut vraiment l'essayer. Mélangé avec du coke, on dirait dr Pepper au cerise. Pour ceux qui aime les rhum épicés et vanillés. C'est déjà ma 2 ieme bouteille. J'hésiterais pas pour une autre.
Certainement le meilleur rhum d'Afrique, le nez est gourmand avec des notes vanille et ça ce confirme en bouche, légèrement sirupeux, l'alcool est présent mais "n'arrache" pas.
Une vraie bonne surprise vers laquelle je reviendrai avec plaisir.

Rhum très agréable car "n'arrache" pas le palais. Parfumé en bouche , mais moins agréable en nez.
Pour ceux qui n'aiment pas les alcools "forts" , c'est un très bon choix.

This rum is produced in Madagascar then aged in ex-Chivas Regal Casks for 1 year. Both American and Spanish oak is used in Chivas Regal casks. The rum is a little dark given just one year of aging. The flavors are woody, Citrus, brown sugar, and vanilla. The vanilla to me is a bit strong even though faint given its one year in oak. The rum is true to the spirit and has an intensely spicy entry before the other flavors kick in. The rum is mostly smooth but has some edges. Long finish, light sweetness and vanilla on fade. Decent for straight up I took mine in all neat, but probably too strong and rough for many to do this.
