Tasted at Ruins San Antonio, November 6 2023
Appearance: clear
Aroma: smoky sourdough bread dough
Flavor: sweet, metallic, anise, dust. This is a complex flavor profile and deserves respect.
A very enjoyable rum that I feel fortunate to have tried while in San Antonio.
Note to self: this would be a nice addition to our collection.
Solid bottle of rhum agricole for cocktails. Recommended. Also a good sub for Cachaca.
It’s just a young & high content Rhum ..
Beautiful sugar cane & floral .. fruit
If you don’t like Agricole wow ok , yes it will take some sips to adjust.
This is my first Agricole Blanc and I'm getting used to it.
This agricole is different than the others I've had, in that it isn't a punch to the face of vegetal, cane, tequila-type notes. Instead, it's almost like if it was blended with a Haitian Clairin, in that there are deep briney flavors alongside the typical agricole flavors. Excellent stuff.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

50% ABV. N: Lots of grass and fruit. Fades with time, replaced with brine and some tire rubber. P: Warm. Some of that salty sweetness. Very good, balanced. 7+, 7?
