I’m shocked I never rated any Appleton’s yet, have tried most of them. This is a staple mixer like Mt Gay. Both our my favorites for Cuba Libra’s. Nothing special going on here just a good solid rum for mixing. Way better than Flor de Cana, and better value than Mt Gay, which is tied with Havana 7 for best rum and coke rum.

This rum has vanilla and oak tones with a slight burnt orange taste followed by a bit of a saccharine after taste.
Mixes well enough with cola, comes across as very middle of the road but earns a six due to its price point.
It is value for money if on a budget.

Not as good as the v/x but fine as a mixer both with cola or ginger beer , was a gift so everyone shared it , no hurry to replace the bottle.
Bit harsh but no added sugar , it does the job !

This is not a bad rum for the price (about US$15). Mixes well with soda although I prefer to drink it neat after letting it breathe for about ten minutes. It's not the best rum out there but also not the worst. Cheers

This isn't a bad aged Rum, it's just boring and young tasting. Great as a mixer but offers nothing as a sipper. Smell is sweet with alcohol and toffee. The flavor is really thin with a little caramel and hint of wood. Not sweet, not dry. A possible cocktail bar stocker when on sale.

Great taste smooth but with Carmel taste and a slightly fruity finish but not sweet their are a lot better Rums out their but for the price you can't beat it 1.5 oz and 1 Rock

Our go to rum. Not the best rum out there, but not the worst. Better than Bacardi. The father in-law turned me onto this rum when I started dating his daughter and he always has a couple bottles in the house. I’m not turning down a free drink. Doesn’t need that much coke in the mix, but wouldn’t want to drink it straight.

This rum is unbalanced. Taste is young. Like it has not fully developed.

Smooth, sweet rum where the alcohol doesn't sting as much as it would in spirits. Good as a sipping rum but quite nice with spicier mixers such as ginger beer.

Aroma of the weak kind of Jamaican rum.
Absolutely dry. Severe burning softened by oiliness. The growing bitterness requires mandatory snacks or liquid.
It noise in my head, and my body is warm and relaxing. Large volumes do not affect to the health.

I couldn't place the fresh, crisp flavor behind this rum. I kept wanting to say "apple" but I'm sure that was just the name getting to me. Not bad overall, decent for mixing but not my favorite. Bottle is kinda fun.
