Cheap and good value for cocktails requiring jamaican rum. Funky and smooth mixed. A little rough neat but not even that bad.

Good with come or Ginger beer.
Works well as a mixer. Not one for sipping.

This is a base from which other rums should be rated. Can't go wrong with this fine Jamaican rum.

This is my go to rum for mixing cocktails! Great price and gives the bite and sweetness needed for those mixed umbrella drinks ;)

Rhum de base à avoir chez soi pour préparer cocktails comme Daiqiri!

Not the best for sipping, it's ok if you let it rest for a while, a good mixer though.

Ok mixer £15 a bottle on offer but there are so many better options to choose from

A bit hot for a 40% rum. Sipped neat the funk is there in the background but not so much that it stands out in a mixed drink. Not a bad rum to keep on hand for tiki drinks like a Gold Cup.

Its a easygoing rum.
Not too bad, but also not great.

This was one I tried soon after getting into rum, after Morgan's spiced gold.
In really liked it in the early days but not as much as CM.
I now like others more

It mixes decently but doesn't work well for sipping. At the price there are better options. This replaced the vx which was better and could actually sip it.I rate it 4.5
