Very leathery aromas. You have to let it breathe for a while. Taste is a bit like a mix between rum and scotch. Lots of leather with some small caramel and raisin after taste. It is very different from most rums I I've tried. Not really my thing but if you like scotch you may like it a lot.

Dieser Rum hat eine für meinen Geschmack eine bestimmte rauchige Note. Diese wird aber durch die süsse welche in diesem Rum steckt angenehm und nicht zu prägnant. Alles in allem ein sehr guter Rum.

Smooth and little bit sweet. Full bodied. Extra characters.

Strong color, smooth in both smell and taste. Sweetness dominates the palate, but still maintains the characteristics of a dark aged rum.

Not bad at all... my buddies and I had a rum tasting night where we each brought a rum. There were 5 bottles of very different rums such as Ron Barcelona Imperial, Deadhead, 12yr Dictator and a Brugal Anejo. Of the 5 this was the standout. It was very smooth. The second sip just got smoother. Really enjoyed this rum. Definitely on the sweeter side.

Top 3 from my point of view but the specific taste is not for everyone. The taste of 20Y old cherry Pedro Chimenez is unbelievable.

One of the other reviews said to let it breathe, just couldn't wait....opened the bottle and was greeted with such a sweet aroma that I had to try. Very smooth, and quite exceptional with a coke mixer. Going to let it breathe more next time and see the difference.

Dufter meget sprittet. Der gemmer sig nuancer af rosiner, karamel og vanilje og valnød. Faktisk en ret lækker duft. Måske det er cherryfadet som den er lagret på.
Smager lækker sød, der er en del smag af fad. Specielt i eftersmagen. Den lever fuldt op til duften. Eftersmagen går over i kakao med en tør fadsmag. Spændende og anderledes rom.

Not my type of rum. Rough on mouth. Not sweet at all.
