Dos Maderas PX 5 + 5 rum is made from a combination of rums from Barbados and Guyana. It is unique becuase of its triple ageding process where for 5 initial years the rum is aged in the Carribean in oak casks. Next PX 5 + 5 is aged in Spain for 5 years in sherry casks, and lastly for 2 more years in even older sherry casks.
The Dos Maderas family of rums are produced by Bodegas Williams & Humbert, which is a well known Spanish winery founded by Sir Alexander Williams in the late 1800s. The region of Spain where the winery is located has a climate perfectly suited for wine and is known as Europe's wine cellar.

Je suis novice en matiรจre de rhum.
J aime d ordinaire ceux qui sont trรจs sucrรฉs et celui-ci a รฉtรฉ sรฉduisant par sont originalitรฉ. Il est assez diffรฉrent des solderas auquels je suis habituรฉ mais trรจs bon.

Tried this today for the first time and I was impressed! For those of you who like your rum on the sweeter side, you will definitely enjoy this. Very little burn and great flavor sipped neat or with an ice cube.

Mne pripomina don papa 10y. Je to lacny, ale zato slusny rum. Sladky, korenisty trochu na konci citit alkohol a na moj vkus moc skriabe v hrdle. Ale inak pitny

Amazing smooth, complex flavour that leaves you wanting more. Not too sharp and not too sweet. A very unique rum

It has aromas of fruits and it's sweet but smooth after first you get confuse if it's a rum taste but it actually is a great sipping rum
