Alkohol: 37,5 %
Původ: Guyana,Barbados,Španělsko
Aroma: Vanilka, lihovost, čerstvé dřevo, za tím pak závan broušené kůže a špetka lékořice. (70 b)

Tasted at Laka Lono on 10/9/22. Golden yellow color. Mild butterscotch toffee aroma. Harsh bitter palate. Mild vanilla. Isopropyl alcohol. Tastes cheap.

Bought this very cheap on holiday in Spain, and if you can buy it for the same price (20ish euro) I wouldn't hesitate. But at home this bottle is easily 20 euros extra and it only differs a few euros from the 5+5 which is better in every way so I would always buy that one. First few sips seemed dry with a slight alcohol burn but after a short breathing period it got very smooth and it drinks very easily, it just has nothing remarkable about it.

I bought this about 2 weeks ago and have tried to give it a fair chance but it just is not good. Maybe it is the sherry aged casks, which I did not realize it was stored in until after I bought it. Maybe it is just more harsh than what I am used to. This is a mixer at best. For the same price point the real McCoy rum beats this every day of the week. Plantation 5 year beats this every day of the week. Appleton signature beats this every day of the week and the list goes on. Not the worst rum I have tried but for $30 it was for sure the worst. Never again.

A nice lighter amber color. A little bit sweet with a little bit of funk. It was best on the rocks, but also good neat.

Tasty smooth rum. Taste of rasins, vanilla, figs, cherry.

Quite different beast from 5+5. It has much less (if any) sugar compared to the heavily sweetened and doctored 5+5 taste. 5+3 has recognizable Bajan traits, fruity nose, fruity and spicy taste, with a hint of oak. It is a solid rum, but compared to Doorly 8y it is not so rich in flavor, not as smooth as Cockspur 12 VSOR. For someone who does not need a ton of sugar in rum it is worth a try.

so in for a penny in for a pound, new nothing about it bought it blind. Its beautiful. Doesn't have an alcoholic taste, not to weak not to face punching, bloody brilliant

My frist few sips were disappointing. No alcohol burn but no flavor at all. I couldn't see mixing because it would add nothing. It's not bad, just nothing there.
