Good nose, sweet, light but good flavors, small burn...
Den är god men har någon märklig bismak. Inte så mycket tillsatt socker.
Don Q Gran Añejo is surprisingly smooth. A very nice rum to sit and relax with.
I love the presentation the bottle is real nice I would prefer it on the rocks or as a mixed drink has a burn to it but otherwise not bad just not sweet enough for me
I was unaware the high regard this Rum garners, my first encounter.
Medium amber, slightly floral nose. Mild honey, vanilla. Smooth finish
Straw colored, pleasantly sweet nose, not as sweet on the tongue as some in this price range but it finishes cleanly and without much burn. I'm fine with the lack of sweet. This is unapologetically good rum with no frills or fancy facades. $57 (NW Florida,USA) is about right.
Very enjoyable. I preferred on the rocks. Nicely built flavor profile. Nothing jumps out but everything fits
Dark, deep flavour with tones of wood, ash. Less honey taste than zacapa 23. Deeper, richer than diplomatico mantuano. The bottle is really cool, but is it worth the extra cost, compared to zacapa? Not sure, feels like a strong mature rum. I will need a few more sips to make the right judgement. Not bad, thats for sure.
A sweet almost perfumed like aroma is followed by some oak, a little spice and a lovely waft of light vanilla.
"The initial sip gives a sweet yet slightly peppery entry. Running alongside these flavours is a subtly creamy vanilla note which runs right through the rum. The finish is long and peppery."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Nose reminds me of a wheated Bourbon with cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Very long finish with somewhat of alcohol bite and oak. Not for the syrupy sweet tooth fan, but loads of flavor. Like many fine whiskeys, this leaves a wonderful aroma of honey and vanilla in the glass after it has evaporated. Most rums do not do this.
