Not much rum taste, a touch of vanilla and rum alongside harsh vodka.

I've wanted to try this for a while. Very good as a mixer. Slight vanilla and nut notes. Not much of a burn. I'll keep a bottle on hand and it's price can't be beat.

Don Q Silver with Diet Coke has been a favorite of mine for years. It easily replaced Bacardi Silver due to the medicinal taste of the latter. If a smooth rum with your rum and coke sounds good to you, try it. Can’t hurt.

My go to inexpensive mixing rum after visiting Puerto Rico. Everything you’d expect in a inexpensive white rum.

Tasted at Laka Lono on 10/9/22. Pours clear. Aroma of Dixie crystals sugar. Boysenberries. Menthol. Wintergreen. Slightly vegetal. Tingling finish.

This is one of my favorite light rums for mixing. Very crisp-feeling and clean-tasting. Mild flavor, but just enough to let you know it is still rum. Totally tolerable "burn", if you can even call it that. Makes a nice Daiquiri. Another one that delivers over its price. If you are a Bacardi Superior person and have not tried this one, seriously, give this one a try.

They make a decently consistent product. Good for mixing, not the best, but still good. Minimal burn. Pretty smooth for what you’d expect actually!

summer 2021 we had problems to find light rum in my place, we had a surprise very good season and importers where too slow to get enough quantity of alcohol for restauration (and stores) so i bought 12 bottles of this, just from the smell i was so disappointed !
don q have good rums like gran anejo but this one really ...

I am not a fan of light rum (even for cocktails) but if you must have that see-through rum in your drink, do yourself a favor and try this instead of Bacardi (Puerto Rico does.) It at least has less burn and medicinal flavor. This is far from a great rum but it's at least tolerable. Recommended for those that choose looks over taste.
