Light gold in colour. It is a somewhat light rum with some vanilla notes but not much complexity as a sipper. Quite a bit of alcohol fumes coming off it but not off-putting. A decent mixer though.
This is the favored local rum in Antigua. Here in Canada it is impossible to find, with the only Antiguan rum being imported being English Harbor. Cavalier was by far my preferred from for the month I spent in Antigua. I used it exclusively as a mixer in cola and it is an extremely good rum for that purpose.

Very nice smooth mixing rum, too bad you can't buy it in Canada
