Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva rum is distilled from molassis in copper pot stills and then aged in small oak casks for on average 12 years before being bottled.
Produced in Venezuela, which has a rich rum history dating to 1896, the Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva distillery is located on the northern slopes of the Andes mountains.

Probably a lot of us started ours rum journeys on this rum. Still good, but by the years too sweet for me.

Az én ízlésemhez kissé túl citrusos, viszont kevésbé édeskés, ettől függetlenül persze nagyszerű rum. Csak magában!
Nothing new to say here, a classic with a sweet taste.

I was my first rum ! I consider it a better option af cpt Morgan!
Got it as a present and really liked it. Liked the nice bottle too.

This is like a refined dessert, decadent, and works well in small doses. An honest rum flavour carried on an almost syrupy sweetness. Thankfully, I can enjoy the taste beyond the sugar content, but I have had friends turn their nose up at it after tasting, which I also can't argue with.

Tasty but misleading

While it is tasty, it’s not what you’d normally think of when sipping rum comes to mind. A good introductory rum. Taste like cola and maple.
