This rum is for someone who just wants to enjoy a nice enjoyable sip of rum or mix it in a cocktail.
The rum is sweet with vanilla and dark chocolate notes with a smooth spicy aftertaste.
Not much else going on. The rum is good, but easily forgotten in the endless ocean of other rums out there
Distinctive, sweet and rich taste. Very smooth and easy to drink. One of my favorites at the moment

Dieser Rum ist ein schwer Rum mit sรผรer Note. Er ist relativ dickflรผssig und bleibt von Anfang an bis zum Ende seine Note treu.
A nice rum without too much aftertaste. Personally, I always recommend this rum as an entry-level rum, for people who are tired of the big brands. A door to the wonderful world of rum. What you will find in this rum is a nice green dark bottle. Not too big or special. The mix with cola has a nice smell and excellent mix, regardless of temperature. The traditional rum scent floats to the surface and it is relatively easy to drink. Pure it becomes a little less, the rum may or may not be a franction too strong for a beginner and also has little layering. Still a great rum to try neat.

As many will say, somewhat more a liquor than a pure rum....but you know what? It's still awesome. Go treat yourself. Now.

Absolutely amazing rum. Possibly one of the bests I have had for its price class. Very very smooth and warm and deep flavours.

Very good rum and usually available across clubs and restaurants nearby (or also during the flights :D) Very sweet, taste of vanilla and chocolate.
Itโs pretty difficult to find a rum that is both sweet and shows the character of an aged rum vs some raw spirit spiked with sugar. This particular diplomatico goes well with a Maduro cigar
Great rum, always a good choice for whatever occassion, from a casual evening drink to a good digestive.
"The palate evokes chocolate sauce and the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose"
"The nose is dominated by notes of caramel, toffee and crรจme. On the back end of the aromas, I can detect a hint of smoke and pineapple"

Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.
"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

A lot of people call this a "gateway rum", because the brand has introduced more people to the idea of sipping rum than any other. I will often give it as a gift, as it presents well and is enjoyed by everyone but the pickiest of aficionados. It's a bit on the sweet side, but still makes for a yummy sipper with caramel and citrus notes. I like it on ice with a twist of orange peel, or in a Rum Old Fashioned.
