Very tasty rum to drink solo, perfect on the rocks. It's very similar to el dorado 12. Highly recommended. For sure will get back to this when I finish the bottle

Nice dark hue with notes of sweet vanilla and oak on the nose. Mesmerizing.
The taste has a bit of bite, but is sweet vanilla rum cake. The flavor costs the palate and lingers. Make you beg for more. Fantastic.

Nearly the perfect rum. Rich dark and full of flavour. My go too!
If you’re looking for a rum that tickles the sweetness tastebuds on your tongue just the right way, look no further.
This rum, for me, is the epitome of a sweet, rich, decadent dessert drink. Yup. Sweet, but also complex enough to be enjoyed. And man that bottle is a great design. A benchmark in its category.
Is there added sugar? You bet. Is that a problem? Only for those that Aren’t maybe aware. For those that know but want sweet and refined, look no further.

A beautiful amber colour, with caramel and vanilla notes in the smell and the taste. This is an incredibly smooth rum to drink, with a deep and complex taste, with a mild enough taste to introduce non-neat drinkers to neat rum! If you haven't tried Diplomatico, go and buy a bottle!
Great flavor, butba little more of a bite than I like. Even some nasal burn, but Pleasanton the palate.
Heavy caramel and toffee nose - great for daily sipping
Must be the best rum I've tasted in this price category

Härligt fruktig arom. Första snutten var förvånansvärt len, med mycket fruktighet och sen kröp sig lite rökig hetta på. Det skulle vara intressant att smaktesta tillsammans med QRM.
"The nose is dominated by notes of caramel, toffee and crème. On the back end of the aromas, I can detect a hint of smoke and pineapple"
via Inu A Kena
"The palate evokes chocolate sauce and the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose"
Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.
"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."

Brown sugar through and through 8 out of 10

Amazing caramel nose, could smell this stuff all day. Taste is overwhelming brown sugar. It's sweet but not overpowering with burnt caramel slight short nice finish. Easy to sip on, maybe a little too sweet for more than 1 glass and not hugely complex - a definite recommend for new raters.
