Smooth rum with notes of caramel, vanilla, and smoke. Pairs nicely with a good cigar.

Is a very good and sweet rum. Perfect for a beginner, or if you just like sweet rum

A very sweet but smooth Rum. Perfect for newbies with a sweet tooth wanting to sip rums instead of mixing. It's one that I keep in my arsenal if I want something with additional sugar. Aging does come through, just not to the point I would like as it is overwhelmed by the sugar content

Likely the standard for a bunch of newer rum drinkers, the Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva had been on my shortlist for awhile. Very nice caramel and fruit, smooth on the palate. This is a solid "A". Seamless and fun to sip.

This has it all at, body, smoothness, complexity, at an affordable price. Best sipped neat, but delicious anyway you want it.

This is a typical Spanish rum, quite a lot of sugar et a bit too sweet. But still a good rum to start with

This is some good rum. I do like the flavor and the aroma is amazing. Would I make this my go to rum possibly. But I do highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it.

Excellent rum for the money! Smooth, high viscosity, with nice legs in the glass. The aroma is reminiscent of molasses and a sweetness on the palate, with a touch of oak. Very well-balanced and excellent sipping rum!

Sweetness hits your tongue and your mouth fills with the rum aromas not a moment later. Then a quick burn and a lingering aftertaste that will make you space it out. I think that the flavours are a bit too much and makes it less appealing on each passing drink. If you let it sit in your fridge the cold milds it down just right, but I like my sippers to be room temp.

Cheap stuff, but Mantuano is cheaper and a bit easier on the palate (not better but not worse either).
