Everything is already said about this fine rum. For me a bit tooo sweet caramelly. I like a little
bitsy more kick to it....

This Diplomatico has a beautiful copper color with some golden glow around it and is wonderfully rich in flavor, with delightful hints of caramel, nutmeg, and walnut. The texture is silky and creamy and makes it a perfect aperitif/dessert rum

Tough we have quite a simple rum with vanilla and lots of sugar, DIPLO RE remains quite a good product with gentle spice and tobaco finish (medium long).

Great overall rum, amazing sipping, maybe a little too sweet. Good value for money, HOWEVER I believe the recipe has been changed slightly. Must taste for any rum connoisseur.

This rum has the smell and initial taste of ripe bananas. Beyond that it is powerful with good bite. Similar to Dictador 20, but with the banana taste. Just a tiny bit too sweet for my daily rum, but definitely something I can sip every once in a while. If you do not like rums that are too sweet, just add an ice cube and it'll open up beautifully.

Dark colour, strong body with notes of caramel, vanilla, fruits and nuts.
