This is an amazing sipping rum. Interesting complex flavors hit me in distinct waves. Describing this rum as smooth does not do it justice, there is no burn or shock, just an interesting blend of flavors. Last time I enjoyed rum this smooth it cost four times as much. I now consider this my de facto sipping rum to suggest to friends.

This is a great rum, well worth its price. This rum is smooth, no fire. The aroma is very nice smells like a home cooked dinner, similar to pampero without any sharp nose. I enjoyed this with a Padron handmade cigar. This was a excellent choice with this rum. I can say I would purchase this again if my reserves of other rums ran low.
Distinctive, sweet and rich taste. Very smooth and easy to drink. One of my favorites at the moment/ one of the best I tried!

First rum to truly floor me with taste. Shame it's Venezuelan. I for one don't wish to support that government.

One of my favourite for a good price.
"The nose is dominated by notes of caramel, toffee and crème. On the back end of the aromas, I can detect a hint of smoke and pineapple"
via Inu A Kena
"The palate evokes chocolate sauce and the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose"
Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.
"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."

Too much chocolate taste...Nevertheless, a good Rum! 7 out of 10

Very soft, easy to drink but quite complex if you want to get closer to the rum's world.
Chocolate and caramel are too intense (IMHO).
A very good taste keeps in the throat
