You have to go through the first sips, but after that is it ok. It's sweet! I am more into the dry rums.

This is a fine rum but on the sweet side with strong vanilla tones. A solid alternative if you do not have a Cuban rum at the ready...

It has a different taste I just can't figure out. I don't think my taste buds like this one but I'll pair it with something to enhance the flavors and comeback with my results.
