Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva rum is distilled from molassis in copper pot stills and then aged in small oak casks for on average 12 years before being bottled.
Produced in Venezuela, which has a rich rum history dating to 1896, the Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva distillery is located on the northern slopes of the Andes mountains.

A deep amber rm with a sweetness you get from caramelized candy. A great rum at a reasonable price !!

This is a very sweet rum with fruity, vanilla, caramel and smoky flavors. It has a bit of a burn to it but it is also very smooth to drink. This is one of those rums that you could sip on all night and it would be great.
It is a little on the sweet side for me for regular consumption but it is definitely one that is going to stay on my house rotation for a long time to come.

Ce Rhum est doux, équilibré, il plaira au plus grand nombre.

Detta var min första riktiga Rom med tanke att dricka ren. Vilken trevlig upplevelse.
Den doftar väldigt söt och väldigt mycket vanilj. Jag vill inte riktigt säga kemisk vanilj, men nästan så mycket.
I smaken dominerar vanilj med en ljus karamell och avslutar med en rund sötma.
Låter man romen stanna lite i munnen känner man en medium och oljig kropp.
Absolut en bra och god Rom. Söt och bra om du inte har något emot en mindre komplex Rom.

Deep choc / dark molasses with hints of cinnamon and all spice. Smooth and not too viscous. Just all the happys really.
Definately not a mixing rum, absolutely beautiful flavour with a lot of depth, almost fruit cakey. No burn. Wont be dissapointed!
I wasn't sure about this rum when I received it as a gift, but ever since it has been my go-to. Absolutely wonderful sipping rum
Complex aroma of cinnamon, dates, maple syrup. Goes down smooth with only a slight burn, leaving an aftertaste of prunes.
