Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva

Este ron a mi parecer exagera en el olor y sabor a caramelo, a pesar que lo he bebido en varias oportunidades, jamás me termina de agradar.

You can't go wrong with this one as a sipper. I'm tempted to give it a 8 but its just too darn sweet and syrupy, I'll call it a very good "dessert rum." I put a shot in my coffee and it worked well.

If you are new to rum, start here. Taste is great, price is great. You will enter a new world of aroma and taste. You will forget about everything you know about whisky and get into the wonderful world of Rum. This is one of the best, if not the best,rums I've ever tasted. If theres a rum god, this is it.

Very intensive rum aroma, sweet and smooth. Beautiful, dark golden brown color. Very good for the price, but not my favorite - can't really say why, maybe a little bit too intensive? BTW: I bought it as Botucal Reserva Exclusive in the bottle depicted above. There seems to be some confusion about it.

rhum très populaire, parfait pour débuter à apprécier "pure sur glace"

Un rhum classique pour débuter: il est omniprésent chez les cavistes et dans les supermarchés, et son packaging donne envie de l'essayer.
Il est assez aromatique (vanille et caramel essentiellement) et très doux (à la limite du sirupeux: beaucoup de sucre ajouté!).
Ce rhum est très facile à boire et formaté pour plaire au plus grand nombre: en ce sens, il est idéal pour faire découvrir cet univers à quelqu'un qui ne s'y est jamais essayé...
Cela dit, vous découvrirez vite qu'il y a plus intéressant, plus naturel à découvrir que ce produit archi commercial!

If you like whisky i think you would easily get into this rum. I found it abit different to other rums i had tried. Its got a smokey note and i found it had the peat flavours of a whisky probably from the oak barrells they use. I wasnt sure when i first tasted it but by the time i was a few glasses in I was ready to buy another.

Sampled the Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva and I can understand why customers enjoy this rum. It is sweet and has no burn whatsoever. Pretty good stuff for those who enjoy sweet rums (41 GPL), however, that is not for me as I prefer dry rums, hence my lower score.

my point a view about the tasty is not a good rhum to sweety. not enough character. but i think that the marketing agound this bottle have made lots of amateur of other rhum.

En mycket prisvärd rom med väl avvägda smaker. En bra instegsdryck i romens vackra värld.
