Specific rum taste, easy to recognise and popular with occasional rum drinkers.

There is no statement of 12yo aging on the product, so I do believe it is not quite so old, is more like a blended rum. This is also my feeling when comparing with other old rums.
So @RumRating please remove the exact age from description.
It is a light sweet rum pleasant taste and smooth. Worth trying.
I would have given an 8 but i've already rated Ron de Jeremy XO 15yo as an 8 and I like that one more.

As a new comer to the world of rum, I find this easy to start with, smooth, very sweet, and not to complicated.

Diplomatico is a safe entry into the world of dark rums. Smooth, subtle and not too sweet strikes the right balance for most palettes.

This rum has that plastic taste that comes from mass produced spirits and finishes really sweet. It’s not bad for the price but I wouldn’t rate it on my list of favorites.

I find this Reserva Exclusiva, to be a bit overvalued, it is a great begginers rum but once you get into trying new stuff it just falls behind. On the sweeter side which i used to like not anymore.

Complex flavour and aroma. Good depth, plenty of everything going on here but quite sweet so could put off the rum purists. Sexy frosted glass bottle makes your guests think you've made an effort. Solid 7. Good stuff but I'd like to experience it without all the additives.
