Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva

I had put this in my Rum tasting seminar it was in the top 3 out of eight rums. Absolutely amazed everyone.I have turned a lot of Rum & Coke drinkers into Rum drinkers with this one.I gave it an Eight of Ten because i do have my favorites, but have not tried enough rums. We are limited in Ontario with our choices.

Intenzivní, chuťově dlouhotrvající mírně sladký rum, který nemůže nikoho urazit. Chuť po pomerančích, karamelu a javorovém sirupu.

Uno de los mejores que he catado, oloroso, estructurado y con muy buen final.
Sin duda estamos delante de un verdadero elixir de vida.
Realmente vale cada € que pagas.
El holandés errante abordaría cualquier barco para robarlo...

Read great things about this and I like Venezuelan Rums so I thoght I'd give it a try.

Not much nose. A bit sweet, vanilla then some cinnamon. Nice spice with a smooth delicate finish. Mid bodied. I like it a lot, not my favorite, but up there.

Velmi skvely rum, prvy ktory som ochutnal z takych tych lepsich rumov a ktory to v podstate cele odstartoval u mna. Prijemne sladky, nieje potrebne ho zapijat a da sa pit bez problemov ohriaty na izbovu teplotu. Skoda ze nevyrabaju 5 litrove flasky :)

This is my go to sipper - so smooth, sweet and easy drinking. My only problem is the bottle empties to quick! Obviously there is a lot of added sugar but That doesn't particularly worry me.

A truly great sipping rum. The fact that it goes for under $60CAD at the LCBO is a bonus.

No harsh alcohol aftertaste, nice sweet balance, great colour, maple syrup on the nose... Let the glass dry and be surprised by the burnt prunes smell. Superb!

This is the rum that got me into rums. Since then I learned about added sugar and why some rums are smooth. Review edited 1 point downwards to 8/10.

With this rum everything began for me. It was so good that I had to try more. This rum is difficult beat.

Wird in Deutschland unter dem Label Botucal Reserva Exclusiva gehandelt.
Beginnt sehr süß, geht aber eher holzig zu Ende. Bitte um Nachsicht, ist mein erster Versuch. Schmeckt mir persönlich sehr gut.
