Nice rum with a decent price from one of the great rum producers in Venezuela. A sweeter rum with the standard vanilla, caramel, brown sugar, some citrus and woody notes.
The youngest in the Diplomatico line, but don't take this as a negative, just a great way to get a good rum at a decent price.

While not as full flavoured as the reserva version, still a highly enjoyable sipping rum with a warm and slightly sweet character

For me its better than the reserva. For the price i was surprised . for me one of the best cheaper versions of these rums.

Decent nose, altho slightly astringent. Clean/ smooth finish. Not a sipper.. Excellent for mixing, as its price point make its an unbelievable bargain.

Not a remarkable rum but then again, neither was the price. Worthy mixer.

Good rum for good price. I prefer it with ice cube.

Great and cheap option. Definitely one of my favourites for the classic Cuba libre. Plenty of ice, coke and a slice of lemon. Deep and pleasant taste.
