A bartender recommended this on a trip to Colombia. The night was a blurr, but I remember being wowed by this at at $3 an oz. It didnt need to breath at all with a very mild heat and a kick of sweet almost like candy. Complex flavors weren't dancing in my mouth, but it was enjoyable and easy to drink for a beginner who only ever mixed his rums in coke before having this

The wash over the tongue lacks any distinguishing flavour, yet the secondary and lingering tastes unquestionably raise the standard of this rum. Rich in vanilla and caramel flavours lasting significantly after a sip. Definitely a unique sipper in my books.

quality but in deep like for the price it should be a tad better. The Kirk & Sweeney 23 year is on par with this for half the price. Don't get me wrong. For the collector and connoisseur this is a must have. It's so smooth on the first sip it's almost like water . . . . and then the bite hits you.

Dictador 20 year old. The starting point for my passion for great Rum. I had always been a whiskey man until my friend popped the cork on a bottle of Dictador 20 on his birthday 10 years ago. Now I search out the limited and tastiest Rums of the world and drive my wife crazy when I don't bat an eye when paying '00's for a great bottle. Price-wise, this is an incredible value, holding it's own alongside rums that are 2 or 3 times more expensive.

Du café tout d'abord, un caramel vanillé assez discret, des notes d'agrumes et même de fruits à coque. Une belle couleur, une belle complexité et une longueur suffisante.
Une très bonne bouteille à mon goût
