Thanks so much for submitting a report. It has been emailed to the Rum Captain and will be actioned shortly.
Duft og smags noter bl.a. lidt honning.
This is a good rum with many flavors including oak and a hint of coffee. My rating is based on taste and value. There are many great sipping runs on the market that are more reasonably priced and give you great value and taste.
Had this bought for me awhile back, I've had better aged Rums but this was a good change on a Friday night.
Definitely caramel and vanilla in the nose. There was a bit of a smokey hint with a fair amount of coaca in the flavor. Nice burn. Overall a really good rum but I did expect a bit more than I got for this price.
Sweet & smooth.
Dark amber in colour
Complex nose, not very sweet, some tobacco and coffee notes
In the mouth sweeter than expected with the spicy notes less forward.
Smooth finish with a gentle burn.
Less predictable than a 23 Zapaca, but then more of a watershed.
Got quite excited after tasting it's younger brother (the 12 Y.O.), so I obviously expected too much before sipping this one.
I don't mention that as an introduction to be followed by a comparison between them.
Both are nice and overall qualitative Rums. If you can spend the extra money, go for this one, at least once. It's more classy.
Personally, I wasn't able to justify the price difference.
Promised myself to try the "Insolent" edition and if necessary update both previous reviews...
This rum is Good but liifle Sharp taste and caramel and some spices
This is my first agricole, and I'm not disappointed. I like its very smooth taste and i do smell and taste a very strong sense of coffee. For me its the main taste and smell, but I have to mention that a friend of mine who tried this rum said he didn't smelled or tasted coffee at all. So, maybe it's just me, but i think it's a very "coffeey" rum – which isn't a bad thing! :)
I really like the smell of this rum. Caramel, vanilla, cocoa, honey, oak, nutmeg, and mild tobacco. The taste isn't quite as good. Similar notes, but I find it harsh. Not a bad rum, but not great either.
I had heard many things about this South American rum before trying it, with a lot of people saying, that whether you like it or not, then it is a rum, that you should try for yourself at least once.
Nose: Roasted coffee, caramel and a hint of oak and figs
Taste: Soft and round taste of cocoa, caramel and hints of toasted honey. Aftertaste is very short.
Overall: There is no doubt, that this a rum with a special and distinct style. You can easily taste, when you are having a Dictador rum. With that being said it has some good special notes, but the lack of aftertaste and the 40 abv hurts the overall rating.
Big taste of honey, smooth, overall good balance. Good sipper.
Betydlig bättre än 12-åriga. Även här bränt socker. Behöver luftas lite
