Dictador Solera Distillery Icon Reserve 20-Year

Good rum, lovely caramel and coffee notes, flavour lingers in your mouth for a while. I was just expected something a little more complex for a 20YO rum.

... řekl bych, že je to rum pro námořníky. Je opravdový, ale nevím vlastně po čem chutná. lehce je cítit sud, ale jen lehce. je spíš jak whisky. Nevýrazný. To je to slovo.

The flavor is close to Dictador 12 year. However, this one has more mild taste and rich.
It has nice chocolate, coffee and custerd flavor. and also has the flavor of wood.

It has a nice flavour but overall for the price and total taste I like the 12year old more

As mentioned in a previous rating, it is way too sweet for my palate. I will keep trying!

The Dictador 20 is build upon the 12 year version, and improves in almost all categories. Scent wise is strong and full of character. Taste is round, and particular nut notes can be found easily

Now this is some tasty stuff. When I reviewed the dictador 12 year I already said that the two are not to compare at all. This one is so smooth, almost silkish and sweet with a fine and pleasant burn. Rum as sweet as the Colombian women!!

Rich flavour - coffee and caramel, wood tones. Strong and just little bit sweet.

Butterscotch on he nose and Kailua on the palate, but only the single flavor. Overall, a nice drinkable rum.
