Really smooth. Dark brown. Really good choice. You can drink with ice.
Its smell is quite similar to Pampero anniversario • caramel,brown sugar and vanilla.
It’s smooth with gentle burn on the way down.
Really a good drinking rum. Smooth with plenty of character and tastes for a complex drink

It is way too sweet for my taste, so I cannot give it a high rating. A lot of people love this rum, I tried it in Cartagena but was not surprised by it.
Good flavour. Full taste, easy going rum. Needs to be in your cabinet

Hele mooie geur van kruiden, vanille en caramel. Smaak is mooi in balans met tinten van gebrand hout, caramel, kruiden, koffie en walnoten. Prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding

Tasted at Laka Lono on 10/10/22. Dark gold. Aromas of cherries and karo pancake syrup. Big brown sugar and plums. A bit of strawberries. Very enjoyable.

Aroma: delightful butterscotch and cherry.
An easy drinker - smooth, wonderful flavors. Apricot, caramel, this is a fine dessert rum treat

A bit of ice tames some of the harshness in this rum and mellows it into a tasty sip redolent of dark coffee and butterscotch. Enjoyed neat expect huge coffee and honey on the nose, a creamy, thick feel in the mouth with no distinctive flavour notes I could detect, and a pleasant bitter, nutty finish. Mixed into tonic water (as I do with all rums) it becomes sickeningly sweet and cloying IMO, but would probably be enjoyable for folks in my area raised on Allen's Coffee Brandy.
That said, there are several other rums I enjoy quite a bit more at this price point, such as Pusser's Gunpowder Proof, or Appleton 12-yr Rare Casks.

Son grand frère de 20 ans est un de mes favoris. Celui-ci n'a pas toute sa richesse et complexité, mais il se compare avantageusement à beaucoup de ses vis-à-vis de "12 ans". Par contre, même s'il veut la peine de payer les quelques dollars de plus que pour le 10 ans, il est un peu (trop?) cher... L'El Dorado 12 ans, à presque la moitié du prix, procurera un même plaisir (ou presque, selon vos goûts)...
